In 2012, the McGuinty Liberals cancelled a plan to renovate the aging hospital.
Rob MacIsaac tells the Spectator his plan for the hospital involves a 24-7 emergency department, a low-risk birth centre and an extensive ambulatory surgery suite of operating rooms.
But MacIsaac would not say whether a revamped West Lincoln hospital would include acute care.
The plan will go before the board later this month for approval.
