The lawyer for one of the men accused of killing an Ancaster father says his client didn't do it, because he's too smart.
Dellen Millard's lawyer said in closing arguments yesterday that Millard's actions make no sense for someone prosecutors allege spent 15 months planning to kill and incinerate a human being.
The lawyer says it was Millard's co-accused, Mark Smich, who pulled the trigger and killed Tim Bosma while the three of them were in Bosma's truck three years ago.
Millard and Smich have both pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Bosma's death.
