Police have closed off the area around the Trump International Hotel and Tower Toronto because of an unstable antenna on top of the building.
Police spokesman Const. Victor Kwong says the closures will last until a city engineer confirms the antenna has been secured.
The Trump Tower, a luxury hotel and condo that opened in January 2012 is located in the city's financial district.
It is not clear when the streets around the building will be reopened.
The building's namesake is real estate mogul and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
