Coming back from the long weekend, 440 Niagara students were handed school suspensions for outdated vaccination records.
The suspensions stemmed from Niagara Public Health's annual review of the records of students from Grade 2 to Grade 12.
Back in January, the parents of over 8000 students in the Region were told suspensions would be handed out May 24th if the records weren't updated or other documentation provided.
The Region offering extra vaccination clinics this week to meet the increased demand from students eager to get back to class.
