Police releasing details of a late night crash that killed two people in rural St. Catharines.
The crash happened just before 11 last night at the corner of Seventh Street Louth and Third Avenue.
Police say a motorcycle driven by a 31 year old Grimsby man collided with a Jeep Cherokee.
The 20 year old female driver of the Jeep had stopped the vehicle at the intersection and was attempting to make a left turn onto Third Avenue when the motorcycle struck the front right corner of the Jeep throwing the driver and a passenger off the bike.
The force of the collision caused the Jeep to roll over.
The Grimsby man and his passenger, a 38 year old woman from Lincoln were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The 20-year-old driver of the Jeep was treated for serious injuries and released from the Niagara Health System St. Catharines Site.
No names have been released.
