Romance will be in the air and on the ice Sunday at the Meridian Centre
Manager of Business Operations for the Niagara IceDogs Matt Johnston will be tying the knot with his finance Sarah on the ice during the second intermission Valentine's Day.
He says the idea first came up back in September when he made a joke about it to his fiancee - and she didn't say no right away
After thinking about it for a few weeks, she was on board and Johnston pitched the idea to team owners Denise and Bill Burke.
From there, Johnston says plans fell into place with the full support of the team.
