Port Rowan man facing child pornography charges

The OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Norfolk County OPP and Niagara Regional Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit have arrested a 20-year-old man after executing search warrants at a St. Catharines residence and a Port Rown resident last Wednesday.

Police seized five computers and other items containing images of child sexual abuse for the St, Catharines location.

Twenty-year-old Michael Patten of Port Rowan is charged with  two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of make available child pornography, one count of making child pornography and one count of sending sexually explicit images without consent.

The investigation is continuing.
