If your drive takes you over the Burgoyne Bridge in St. Catharines, take note that it will be closed to traffic overnight Monday.
The bridge will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Monday Sept. 28th at 10 p.m. to Tuesday Sept. 29 at 6 a.m.
Officials say the closure is required to make the necessary preparations to transfer traffic from the existing Burgoyne Bridge structure to the new Burgoyne Bridge structure.
Traffic will be detoured along Regional Road 81 (St. Paul Street), Louth Street, Regional Road 77 and Regional Road 42 (Fourth Avenue and Ontario Street) during the closure.
