The Niagara IceDogs topped the visiting Oshawa Generals 4-0 in exhibition action at the Meridian Centre on Friday night.
Aleksandar Mikulovich opened the scoring on a 5-on-3 powerplay to make it 1-0.
In the second, the IceDogs would take advantage of their second 5-on-3 of the game as Mikkel Aagaard banked one in off the defenceman to make it a 2-0 IceDogs lead at the 14:07 mark of the second.
In the third, Christopher Paquette picked up his fourth of the preseason to put the game away at 3-0.
Ben Jones added his first as an IceDog into the empty net to make it a 4-0 final.
Stephen Dhillon continued his perfect exhibition season so far, stopping 30 shots for the shutout, as the IceDogs were outshot 30-29 on the night. With the shutout Dhillon has now stopped all 68 shots he has faced in 124 minutes of action over three games so far this preseason.
The IceDogs will wrap up exhibition play tonight when they host the visiting Kitchener Rangers at 7pm at the Meridian Centre.
