Niagara Police were out early Sunday morning conducting RIDE lanes in the city of St Catharines.
Around 75 vehicles were stopped during the time.
One 7-day suspension was issued to a driver but no other charges were laid.
All drivers were given information on distracted driving for them to read.
Distracted driving is a major factor in motor vehicle accidents and as of September 1st stricter laws came into effect on provincial roads with a set fine of $490 and three demerit points for drivers caught driving while distracted.
