A St. Catharines family pleading for the return of a stolen family heirloom.
On August 14th, a gold medal won by Rosie O'Neill in 1927 was stolen during a break in at her grandaughter's home.
O'Neill who then went by her maiden name Grosse, won the medal in the 50 yard dash during the Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
A year later Grosse went on to set the world record for the 100 dash at 11 seconds.
The family has photos of the medal on Facebook and are hoping people will spread the word.
