Despite the controversy, the lone wolf tenor, who changed the words to O Canada, will still be playing FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St Catharines this fall.

Remigio Pereira made headlines when he was performing with The Tenors at the Major League Baseball all-star game earlier this month and changed the words "With glowing hearts we see thee rise, the True North strong and free" to "We're all brothers and sisters, all lives matter to the great."

The executive director of the downtown St. Catharines Arts Centre says in a release, Pereira will play the venue as part of the Pavlo and Remigio:Guitarradas tour.

Steve Solski says the Centre has always been excited by the collaboration of these two outstanding performers and we knew our audiences would be as well.
