Niagara Region’s Community Services office at 5853 Peer Street in Niagara Falls is temporarily closed due to a flooding incident that occurred July 25, 2016.
Remedial work is underway and staff have been redeployed to other work locations to ensure continued service to clients. The office is expected to re-open August 8, 2016.
All appointments with clients have been cancelled and will be rescheduled as soon as possible. Those wishing to drop off documents via the onsite drop box should continue to do as they will be picked up and processed daily.
Clients with inquiries about their case are asked to call 1-800-808-2268 and have their member I.D. available. Clients can also contact their casemanager and leave a message as calls are being returned throughout the day.
Niagara Region Community Services delivers the provincial Ontario Works social assistance program in Niagara with offices in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Port Colborne and Fort Erie.
