It's graduation season, but today's graduates have four feet instead of two.

The Niagara Regional Police Service is welcoming two new members to the Canine Unit: Police Service Dog Havoc and Police Service Dog Ender.

The NRP's canine training program is internationally known, which has other police departments seeking their expertise.

PSD Havoc and PSD Ender graduated alongside police dogs from Buffalo, Amherst, and Kawartha Lakes.

Before he had even graduated, PSD Havoc assisted in one arrest.

Last night, Havoc helped nab a suspected car thief.

The NPR Canine Unit has been operating since 1987.

In addition to today's graduates, it consists of 7 general patrol dogs and 1 dog dedicated solely to explosives.
