If you are looking for a way to honour the innocent people killed in the Orlando shootings, a candlelight vigil will be held tonight.
St. Catharines Mayor Walter Sendzik tells CKTB Pride Niagara is organizing the event at St.Catharines City Hall at 8:30 p.m.
Sendzik says council will take a break from its regular council meeting to attend the service.
He says he wants to respect the victims and show that love conquers all.
The Pride flag that was already flying at city hall was lowered to half-mast this morning.
Sendzik is inviting community members to take part in the vigil.
The Peace Bridge will also be lit in rainbow colours tonight in remembrance of the 49 victims.
