The car came to rest on its right side.

A passerby saw the vehicle, stopped, provided assistance and called 9-1-1.

The man was transported from the scene to an out of region trauma centre with life-threatening injuries where he remains in critical but stable condition at this time.

This incident remains under investigation by Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police Services Collision Reconstruction Unit. Any witnesses with information regarding this collision are asked to contact Investigators at (905) 688-4111, extension 5500.
