Niagara Police have arrested a Niagara On The Lake man after an alleged sexual assault complaint.
During the early morning hours of July 16th, two females from Welland travelled to Niagara On The Lake to meet a man previously unknown to them.
One of the women consumed some alcohol then fell asleep, and awoke to the man engaged in a sexual act with her.
The suspect has been identified as 27 year old William Duchart.
He has been arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault.
Duchart is being held in custody, pending a bail hearing today.
Police are asking anybody with information about the suspect to please come forward.
