Niagara Regional Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who may have been involved in three separate incidents in Niagara Falls.

The first one happened Wednesday June 1st,  involving an 11 year old boy who was walking home from school in the area of Devon Drive and Cumberland Court. Police say a woman in a red or burgundy van waved to the boy and when he waved back - an elderly female opened the door and offered him a ride home. The boy ran home and reported that a male was driving the vehicle.

In the second incident, on Thursday June 2nd, a woman with her two children was in the parking lot of Niagara Square when an unknown older female approached them offering a free cake she had baked for a friend who wasn't home. The offer was initially declined, but eventually accepted. The woman who offered the cake was seen leaving in a red or maroon mini van.

There was a third incident involving a red/burgundy van on Thursday morning with tinted windows in the area of Shannon Drive in Niagara Falls.

Police say the woman they are seeking to identify is white and in her 50's with long brown hair and glasses.

The NRP would like to identify the female to determine her intentions. At present there is no apparent criminal offence that has been alleged or committed.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Niagara Regional Police.
