More than 4,500 Niagarans voted in an unofficial referendum over the weekend to save our local hospitals and urge the province to stop health care cuts.
The Niagara Health Coalition has released the local data saying the vast majority of those who voted in the polls want to stop the planned closures of hospitals in Welland, Port Colborne and Fort Erie.
The results of a province wide vote in 30 regions across the province will be released later this morning by the Ontario Health Coalition.
