The Niagara Regional Police Service is applauding another successful prescription drug drop off day.
Llocal residents turned over 215 pounds of prescription drugs at five separate locations set up around the region last weekend.
The drugs included hydromorphone, oxycodone, codeine, demerol, lorazepam and morphine.
The goal of the annual intiative is to remind residents to turn over drugs that could potentially fall into the wrong hands.
