Loblaw says a ``technical error'' forced the temporary closure of a number of its stores today.
Company spokeswoman Catherine Thomas says the problem resulted in some stores experiencing issues completing sales.
Thomas says the issue has been fixed and all stores are now operational.
Stores under the Loblaw (TSX:L) banner include Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart, Zehrs, No Frills and the Real Canadian Superstore.
