Grimsby resident wins $100,000 with Encore

Lesley Stewart of Grimsby is celebrating after winning $100,000 with ENCORE in the May 20, 2015 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

“This whole experience has been a whirlwind but it sure didn’t start that way,” said Lesley while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where she picked up her winnings.

Lesley has had the winning ticket for months and didn’t even know it. “I just left it on my kitchen table and finally decided to get it checked,” she admitted.

Lesley thought the ticket-checker showed a one hundred dollar win. It was the store clerk who gave her the news.

Lesley recently completed school and said, “Now I’ll be able to pay off my student loans, take a family trip and even put a down payment on a house.”
