Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Niagara.
Forecasters saying temperatures will peak in the 30 to 32 degree range Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday night will be a very warm night with overnight minimum temperatures in the 20 to 23 degree range.
Humidex values will be near 40 during the afternoon hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures are not expected to be as warm on Monday with highs in the upper 20's.
Environment Canada saying while extreme heat can put everyone at risk from heat illnesses, health risks are greatest for older adults, infants and young children, and people with chronic illnesses.

An Excessive Heat Alert has been issued by Niagara Region Public Health as the humidex is expected to reach 40° C over the weekend.
Niagara residents are advised to take extra precautions during episodes of extreme heat and humidity.
Signs of heat-related illness may include confusion, dizziness, nausea, muscle swelling, heart disturbances, and headache.
