A 30 year old man is in police custody following a stabbing in St. Catharines.
Police were called to the Facer Street area last night just after 8:00, on a report a man had been stabbed.
The victim was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries.
A short while later police arrested a suspect identified as 30 year old Eric Benson of St. Catharines, charging him with aggravated assault.
Police believe the accused and the victim are known to each other.
