Barack Obama today becomes the first sitting U-S president to set foot in Cuba since Calvin Coolidge 88 years ago.
The capital of Havana is sprucing itself up for Obama, who is very popular among Cubans for announcing in 2014 that the U-S would lift its 54-year-old economic and diplomatic embargo against the Communist Island.
He says not long ago, his visit to Cuba ``would have been unthinkable.''
Obama says his three-day trip shows that two counties once at odds can begin to mend relationships.
