A heads up if you plan to do a little driving this week while the kids are off school.
Texting, talking and even eating while driving.
That's what police will be looking for this March break in another crackdown on distracted driving
They say it remains the leading cause of fatal collisions on OPP-patrolled roads in the province.
Last year 69 people were killed in distracted driving crashes.
That compares to 61 speed related and 45 alcohol or drug related deaths.
OPP Comissioner Vince Hawkes says “if you are texting, talking on your cellphone or pre-occupied with other activities while behind the wheel, you are not driving safely."
