Brock University is looking for girls to take part in a three month study.
The study will examine the role dairy plays in the diet and exercise efforts of overweight teenage girls.
The research is looking for 75 girls from around Niagara between the ages of 10 and 16.
Participants will exercise with personal trainers three times a week, some will be asked to consume a certain amount of dairy foods per day, while others will not.
The research is being funded by the Dairy Farmers of Canada and will specifically look at the role of dairy products play in weight management intervention.
