Niagara Police have arrested a wanted man following an alleged violent incident in Fort Erie over the weekend.
The NRP saying they received information that 21 year old Joshua Stiles was at a home in Thorold today.
Officers responded to the address in the area of Front Street and Clairmont Street.
Stiles exited the home and surrendered himself to officers without incident.
He was arrested and will attend a bail hearing on March 1st in St. Catharines.
The hunt for the the suspect started Saturday when police were called at 4am to a house in Fort Erie in the area of Queen Street and Goderich Street to a 911 call of a disturbance involving a man and a woman.
The woman, who suffered minor injuries fled the house to meet with officers.
Officers received information that the man maybe armed with firearms.
Uniform officers contained the residence and entered the home to find a 2 month old baby inside unharmed asleep.
The man fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Police have been looking for the suspect since the incident.
Stiles is facing 11 charges including forcible entry, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, pointing a firearm, and forcible confinement.
