OPP have found the body of a missing 21-year-old man, two days after his girlfriend was found dead near a pair of abandoned kayaks.
Police found the body of 21-year-old Zachary Michael Sutherland, of Georgetown, in the Credit River on Tuesday.
His body was found at around noon as police officers searched the river near Terra Cotta, a small community approximately 65 kilometres northwest of Toronto.
Sutherland's body was found two days after police pulled his girlfriend's body from the same river.
Kaya Firth was pronounced dead at the scene
The search began Sunday, when two empty kayaks were spotted lodged in a sheet of ice on the river.
