Niagara Police say they arrested a suspect of an alleged break and enter who got stuck in the snow when trying to get away.
On Thursday, officers were called to the area of Maple Lane and Edgemere Rd in Fort Erie to home alarm that had been set off.
Police arrived to find the home had been broken into, and officers also noticed a vehicle stuck in the snow with a man inside it.
Officers say the man of the disabled vehicle was trying to flee the scene when he lost control of his vehicle and became stuck in the snow bank
26 year old Stewart Hardman of Fort Erie was arrested and charged with break and enter, and mischief.
Hardman was released on a Promise to Appear in court on April 19, 2016.
