The St. Catharines-based company that developed the i-Q Touch sales terminals and software used in restaurants is being bought by Panasonic Canada.
Quickservice -- which was founded in 1960 -- will operate as a separate division of the Japanese electronics company.
Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed but the purchase is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
About 100 people work at the St. Catharines company on Welland Ave.
