A Quebec man has been sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service after impersonating a soldier during last year's Remembrance Day ceremony.
Franck Gervais, of Cantley, Quebec pleaded guilty in March to two charges for donning a military uniform, despite not serving in the military, and for wearing medals he didn't earn.
Members of the Canadian Forces complained after they saw Gervais being interviewed on T-V at the National War Memorial.
