Chris Hyndman, co-host of CBC-TV's lifestyle series ``Steven and Chris,'' has died.
The CBC reported that Hyndman, 49, was found without vital signs after 11 p.m. on Monday in an alleyway near Toronto's Queen and Broadview streets.
A Toronto Police spokesperson would not confirm the report, citing privacy concerns.
A CBC spokesman confirmed earlier Tuesday that Hyndman had died.
No other details were immediately released.
Hyndman co-starred with off-screen partner Steven Sabados on the daily series, one of several projects that featured the couple's chemistry and affectionate rapport.
Sabados was born and raised in Niagara Falls.
