Regional councillor Andy Petrowski has apologized to Niagara Region Chair Al Caslin for public comments made against gay marriage.
The apology flows from recent Tweets he made on social media. In an email that was circulated to Regional Councillors - Petrowski admitted he
made comments that were offensive to the L-G-B-T-Q community, adding he has now shut down his twitter account.
Petrowski - a two term politician in St. Catharines - says he's learned something from the recent experience. He now knows it's his responsibility to represent each and every person in the City of St. Catharines and the Region of Niagara.
