Brock University's Twitter account is being recognized as being the best out of all Canadian universities.
It was announced at #PSEWEB 2015 which is a digital marketing conference targeted towards Canadian colleges and Universities.
The team behind the analytics firm Engagement Labs looked at social media usage of 150 Canadian post-secondary institutions.
Of those, almost 97 percent linked to their Facebook page with 92 percent being active with Twitter, another 42.7 percent of institutions linked to their Instagram page.
Schools were ranked due to their engagement on social media, as well as their reach and impact and responsiveness on each platform.
Brocks Twitter page has over 30,000 followers and was awarded first overall for Twitter accounts.
Other winners included the University of Saskatchewan for Top Facebook Page and York University for their use of Instagram.
