Officials in Halton Hills investigating after a one year old boy suffered severe burns to both his feet after stepping on a hot metal.
Dave and Jill Pelvin explain their son Greyson was playing with his siblings at a splash park in Georgetown Monday when he stepped on a set of metal doors laying at ground level near the pad.
He suffered second degree burns that may require skin grafts.
The doors, which have Danger Keep Off signs on them, are only steps away fromt he splash pad.
A fence now surrounds the doors to prevent another mishap.
