Still no word on who will be playing the annual New Year's Eve show in Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls.
During last night's city council meeting, Mayor Jim Diodati told councilors they are almost there booking talent for the show.
He says is is hoping to make an official announcement next week.
Last month, Global TV decided not to carry the show, leaving the New Year's Eve concert without a broadcast partner and more importantly leaving the city without a major financial sponsor to help pay for a premiere act.
