UPDATE - Entire Niagara Region under Rainfall and Wind Warnings

A wet and windy afternoon continues in Niagara.

Rainfall and wind warnings are still in effect for the region.

Environment Canada says is predicting that rain will end this evening and we could get a thunderstorm early this evening.

There is a 60 percent chance of showers returning tonight.

Another 15 to 25mm of rain is forecast to fall.

It will continue to be windy, with gusts reaching 70k.

On Thursday there is a 60 percent chance of showers and winds will intensify.

Winds could reach up to 90 k an hour.

The forecast on Friday is sunny with a high of 10.

Winds of 90km/hr by tomorrow and could damage trees and cause local power outages.

Environment Canada says damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur.

Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
