Baseball fans across Canada are breathing a sigh of relief after the Toronto Blue Jays avoided elimination by beating Kansas City 7-1.
That trims the Royals' lead in the American League Championship Series to three-games to-two.
The star of the game was Jays' pitcher Marco Estrada, who allowed just one run off three hits over seven-plus innings.
Jays manager John Gibbons heaped praise on Estrada, calling the right-hander ``a master of what he does.''
Estrada says he had ``a lot of adrenalin going'' and got a big boost from the sell-out crowd at the Rogers Centre.
David Price is scheduled to start for the Jays in Game 6 in Kansas City tomorrow night.
If needed, Game 7 would also be in Kansas City on Saturday night.
